No Puppies for Me!!
No Puppies for me! Nope Nope Nope! Even though this little red faced boy stole my heart this weekend! I wanted so badly to keep him but I know adopting a puppy comes with a whole lot of responsibility that I can’t handle right now. Mostly it’s the financial committment that I am not ready for! Having two jobs doesn’t help (even though I could take him to work at one of them.)
A rescue friend was in from out of town with lots of puppies. She asked if I’d like to take home a litter of border pups for the night. How could I possibly turn that down? What was a litter of 8 border collie pups turned into 2 border pups and 2 lab mix puppies. The labs were a bit older but I had space to crate the baby borders overnight and leave the lab puppies in an xpen in the kitchen. I didn’t get much sleep and I mopped my floor a few times. I didn’t care though! It was so much fun to have puppies for a few hours!!
I fell in love with this little boy:

I named him Cash. His parents were supposedly farm dogs from somewhere down near richfield. I bet he’d be a great little worker and already loves toys and tug and treats! When I went to return the puppies I could not bear leave him behind. So I kept him a few more hours. I took him to meet my friends at Flyball Practice but no one there wanted to adopt him. I knew deep down I couldn’t make the committment to keep him so I took him back to the rescue yesterday afternoon. I did have a lot of fun playing with him yesterday!
Here are some additional Puppy Pics!!

He’s so adorable! I can see why you’d want to keep him.
oh I love puppies! They have so much more energy than me tho, I poop out way before they do! I hope they find a nice home XO

When they are babies they get tired out really fast! It’s just when they get bigger that they have tons of energy!!
Nicky LOVED these pictures. We will be out Dec 29 to Jan 3. I hope we get to see you.
I’d like to try to see you guys. I will be out of town until the 29th but maybe call me when you get in town and we can see what we can set up.
You have more willpower than I do!
So very very cute. You are very strong to say no to a puppy. I’m sure he will find a wonderful home.
AWwww they are so darling! Puppy breath and puppy fuzz for a night! I’m jealous!
